FURMAN TO HOST SLOVAKIA-LEVICE IN
PRESEASON EXHIBITION BASKETBALL THURSDAY

GREENVILLE -- The Furman men's basketball team tips off the preseason exhibition schedule Thursday night when it hosts Slovakia-Levice at 7:00 p.m. at Timmons Arena. Admission is free.

Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Larry Davis, the Paladins return eight lettermen and four starters off last year's team, including consensus junior All-Southern Conference forward Karim Souchu, who averaged 18.9 ppg a year ago.

Furman opens its season on Nov. 16 against Georgia in Athens.
