PALADINS TO FACE BELORUSSIAN TEAM IN EXHIBITION

GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- The Furman basketball team will tipoff its 1999-2000 preseason Saturday night in Timmons Arena, with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against a Belorussian exhibition team. Admission is free with no reserved seats.

The Paladins return seven letterwinners and three starters from the 1998-99 squad that went 12-16 overall and placed fifth with a 5-11 record in the Southern Conference's South Division.

Furman will play its final preseason exhibition game on November 11 at 7:30 p.m. The Paladins' open the regular season on Saturday, November 20, with a 1 p.m. home game against Southeastern College.
