FURMAN BASKETBALL

ANNOUNCES THIRD SIGNEE

GREENVILLE -- Furman University head basketball coach Larry Davis announced today that Dusan Milicic, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound guard/forward from Limestone, Tenn., has signed a national letter of intent with the Paladins.

Milicic, a product of Washington College Academy (WCA), joins Kenny Ziegler, a 6-foot-5 forward from Lithonia, Ga. (Lithonia H.S.), and Darrell Arbaugh, a 6-foot-7 forward from Ashland, Ky. (Blazer H.S.), in giving the Paladins three recruits this year. Ziegler and Arbaugh inked with the Paladins in November.

"We're very happy to add another outstanding shooter to our program," said Davis in announcing the signing of Milicic. "He's a player with excellent size who can play several positions, from wing guard to power forward, and he's coming from one of the top prep school programs in the country in Washington College Academy. We think Dusan is an excellent addition to our program, and we especially like his scoring potential."

Milicic averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game for a WCA squad that posted a 27-3 record this year. Milicic, who shot 49% from the field and 45% from 3-point range, helped WCA claim the Davy Crockett Tournament Championship in Johnson City in November and a runner-up finish at the Adidas Footlocker North American Shootout in Canada in December. He shot at team leading 87% from the line for the season.

The following is the list of Furman's men's basketball signees to date:

Kenny Ziegler (6-5, F, Lithonia, Ga., Lithonia High School)

Darrell Arbaugh (6-7, F, Ashland, Ky., Blazer High School)
