SAM PERRY NAMED SOUTHERN CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEK

SPARTANBURG, SC -- The Southern Conference today named Furman's Sam Perry and UNC Greensboro's Jarrett Santos as the co-Pitchers of the Week.

Perry, a 6-0, 170-pound righthanded pitcher from Dublin, Ga. (Trinity Christian) tossed a complete game three-hitter in an 8-1 win at #27 UNC Greensboro on Sunday, March 28. Perry walked two and struck out five, while allowing one unearned run.

The Paladins, who are 8-15 on the season and 2-4 in conference play, return to action this weekend when they host Elon in a three-game series. The first game is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Furman Baseball Stadium.
